Winter Hat Tree

Fabric art can make fabulous public art displays and the theme of Winter Hats or Toques helps us to celebrate our Canadian identity. Our Winter Hat Tree came together with the help of volunteer artists and crafters and the sculpture attracted downtown shoppers, by its funky and colourful look and feel. Spin off events like ‘free scarves / mitts’ popped up in the community as well.
